SAYSKY Athletes: PB Weekend
The SAYSKY athletes performed quite well this past weekend with both victories, course records and PB's on the race menu. Tom Gröschel (on the cover picture) took home the victory at the Hannover Half Marathon in a time of 65:25. Not bad after all, considering that he's preparing for the German Marathon Championships in a few weeks time.
Read about how a handful of the other SAYSKY athletes performed - just below the pictures:
Simon Stützel was battling the elements at the German Half Marathon Championships in Freiburg, where he ran a new and impressive 64:44 PB. It was tactical race, with a challenging course and horrible weather conditions. Regardless, the final 10k were finished in a blazing 29:35.
Julie Frøslev Mathisen just recently joined the SAYSKY athlete team and she had a pretty good day, at her first real race of the year. Half marathon PB in Berlin in a fast time of 1:16:09. Welcome onboard. We can't wait to keep up with you.
Finally, long-time SAYSKY athlete and 2020 Olympic triathlon aspirant Emil Holm, had another fast day at the office. Emil set a new course record and 5k PB in Copenhagen, with a time of 14:50. Elegant on the move as always.
